Shannon Bybee Scholarship Award Committee
The Shannon Bybee Scholarship Award Committee coordinates the solicitation of student written scholarly papers and selection of first and second place winners from among the participants who are honored with cash awards in addition to recognition. It is chaired by Jennifer Roberts.

alt           JENNIFER ROBERTS focuses her practice on gaming law, including gaming licensing, gaming compliance and gaming law development; federal, state and local alcohol beverage licensing control; land use and zoning; business licensing and regulatory and administrative law. She regularly appears before the Nevada Gaming Control Board and Nevada Gaming Commission, as well as local councils and commissions. She is also an adjunct professor of gaming law at the William S. Boyd School of Law.
alt           STEPHEN MARTINO is Senior Vice President & Chief Compliance Officer, MGM Resorts Intl. and directs MGM Resorts International's compliance with federal and state requirements for gaming activity and financial transactions. He has oversight of MGM Resorts properties in Las Vegas and throughout the United States. In his role, he draws on a dozen years of experience in the casino, interactive, lottery and pari-mutuel gaming industries. He served in regulatory positions as executive director of the Kansas Racing and Gaming Commission from 2005-2010 and then as director of the Maryland Lottery and Gaming Control Agency from 2010-2015.
